Klaus-Peter Sauer

Klaus-Peter Sauer works at SAP as Senior Director in the SAP Product Management team for Data Warehousing with a focus on the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud solutions.

He started his career in 2000 as an SAP BW consultant, holding various key positions in both consulting and pre-sales over the years. As Technical Lead of the SAP COE in EMEA at Teradata, Klaus-Peter Sauer supported leading companies across all industries for over five years to implement future-proof and cross-platform data warehousing architectures. In 2012, he became part of a global team of experts for SAP HANA Platform, Data Warehousing and Big Data at SAP. This was followed by two years in the strategy and go-to-market team for data warehousing.

Klaus-Peter studied economics and business informatics at Philipps University Marburg and the University of Kent at Canterbury and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Canterbury Business School in the UK.

He is the author of the books "SAP BW on HANA" and "SAP BW/4HANA and BW on HANA", also published by Espresso Tutorials.
